Milpitas, CA | August 2026 Six Sigma Microelectronics is pleased to announce that it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 for its assessed environment.

CMMC Level 2 certification demonstrates that the assessed environment has been evaluated against the cybersecurity requirements established for organizations that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The certification strengthens Six Sigma's ability to support customers operating within the U.S. defense industrial base and reflects our continued commitment to protecting customer information and maintaining a secure operating environment.

As a trusted supplier to the aerospace and defense industries, Six Sigma Microelectronics understands that protecting sensitive customer information is an important part of delivering reliable, mission-critical hardware. Our CMMC Level 2 certification adds another important layer to the quality, security, and compliance foundation that supports our customers.

Six Sigma's CMMC Level 2 certification complements a robust portfolio of certifications, qualifications, registrations, and industry compliance programs, including:

  • DLA QML Class Q, V, and Y certification for Column Attach and Hot Solder Dip
  • DLA Laboratory Suitability for applicable MIL-STD-883 testing
  • ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 certification for the company's ESD Control Program
  • DMEA Microelectronics Trusted Source accreditation
  • ITAR and SAM.gov registration

These qualifications and programs support Six Sigma's commitment to rigorous quality management, controlled processes, traceability, ESD protection, counterfeit mitigation, and compliance with applicable military and industry requirements.

"Achieving CMMC Level 2 is an important milestone for Six Sigma and reinforces our commitment to protecting the information entrusted to us by our customers," said Russ Winslow, President of Six Sigma Microelectronics. "We are proud to add this certification to the foundation of quality, security, and compliance that supports the critical work of our aerospace and defense customers."
