Russ Winslow | President & CEO

Russ Winslow is the founder and president of Six Sigma Microelectronics. He is a semiconductor industry veteran with more than 40 years of experience (1980 – present), specializing in the areas of microelectronics packaging design and assembly, factory automation and mechanization, process engineering, and failure analysis. He is also an industry expert in electronic component lead finish and solderability.


Russ has authored and co-authored numerous technical articles and holds a patent for fixtures for wave soldering of integrated circuits.


Prior to Six Sigma, Russ was at Cypress Semiconductor where he helped design and build their US-based assembly factory. Prior to Cypress, he was in the Assembly Automation Group at Intel.


Russ earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
