Minerva Cruz | Process & Reliability Engineering Manager

Minerva Cruz is the Process and Reliability Engineering Manager at Six Sigma. Since 2005, Minerva has conducted various engineering studies and authored several technical papers at Six Sigma. She headed the creation of a solderability test method for column grid arrays with DLA and JEDEC.


Prior to joining Six Sigma, Minerva was a researcher at the National Institute of Physics at the University of the Philippines. Her research was focused on the growth and characterization of single-crystal superconductors.


Minerva earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines where she received the Best Applied Physics Thesis of the Year Award and the President’s Award for International Publication. She then earned her Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from San Jose State University and received the Best Student Research Award for her work on interfacial reactions between Pb-free solders and various surface finishes.
